At Mutiara Taman Negara, you can choose
from cosy timber bungalows and rustic chalets equipped with all

closer to nature by setting up tent at our camping site! Seri Mutiara
Restaurant offers sumptuous international fare and local delicacies
whilst the Anjung Teresek Bar lets you unwind with your favourite
drink after an exciting day on the jungle terrain.

or seeking thrills and adventure, there is never a dull moment here.
Immerse yourself in fascinating sights, sounds and even smells of
the park as you jungle trek, climb mountains, shoot the rapids or
explore caves such as Gua Telinga, Gua Kepayang and Gua Menari which
are home to various bats, racer snakes and fascinating insects.
Visitors can also opt for more relaxing
activities like swimming and picnicking by the clear waters at Lata
Berkoh, fishing, going on a boat rides as well as visiting the night
market and the "Orang Asli" settlements. At dusk, spend
the night in a wildlife observation hide up in a tree while waiting
for a tapir, bear, tiger or elephant to appear!
Getting There
By bus and boat
: A coach departs daily at 8:30am from Main Lobby
Hotel Istana and at 8.45am from Lower Lobby, Crowne Plaza Mutiara,
Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Tembeling Jetty. From here, a boat ride will
take you to Mutiara Taman Negara. The return coach departs at 12:30pm
daily and arrives at approximately 3:30pm.
Self-drive
: From East Coast Expressway, exit at Temerloh and
proceed to Jerantut town. You will reach a T-junction. Here, visitors
have a choice of continuing the journey by boat ( turn left to Kuala
Tembeling Jetty -16km) or to drive up to the resort ( turn right
to Kuala Tahan -75km). The journey is 3 and half hours from Kuala
Lumpur.
